When the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) starts in May 2018, we are likely to see a huge influx of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs). Data access requests will allow people to see some or all of the information an organization holds on them, and the reasons that the information is being retained. Anyone who may receive a data access request should be briefed on the proper way to handle them.
